A sunny September day in Colorado’s capital is the typical setting for the annual Denver Century Ride. For more than 20 years, we’ve been there to support riders and provide much-needed hydration. Billed as Colorado’s only urban-based ride, the course takes participants through a wide range of backdrops, from rolling by Coors Field to pedaling past horse properties with stunning mountain views.
If you’re not up for a 100-mile ride, there are also routes of 85, 50, and 25 miles. Whichever you choose, you’ll have a great time getting to know Denver and being cheered on by spectators all along the way. The race’s promoters believe that “cycling is not just a sport but can be a healthy and environmentally friendly way of life.”
